Description: As half Martians go Gervase is of average height and exhibits the thin and sinewy Martian physique. His lithe stature conceals a robust musculature. Hhe has slightly dark skin that could loosely be described as a 'tan'.
Background: Gervase’s father was a phasilier in the 62nd Martian Infantry who spent 3 tours of duty on Mars. His mother was a native of the Central Hellas. Their marriage was of course frowned on by both British and Martian societies. Gervase’s mother died of Welsh influenza in the great plague of 1984 when Gervase was only 5 years old. His father made arrangements with a Martian family to keep the boy while he served out his duty but his support money stopped after his death at the hands of British smugglers. The family he was with felt no guilt kicking Gervase out of their home at the age of 8. Since that time Gervase learned to live on the streets of Talastaar. Gervase became tough and very resourceful as he was an outcast in a crowd of outcasts. Gervase was always fascinated by the ærocraft both native and alien. At the age of 17 he obtained a job on a agricultural water tug and learned to fly from a pilot that liked to take naps while trekking between farms. Gervase was a natural pilot and by the age of 19 Gervase was chauffeuring the local irrigation contractor in a private æro-sedan. One day while performing this task a British agent leapt into the car and demanded that Gervase follow a tripped out levitron. The æro-sedan would have been woefully outclasses in the subsequent chase but Gervases skilled and intuitive piloting forced the levitron into a canal embankment. That agent rewarded Gervase with a job as a motor currier between the various cities. Such curriers frequently were messengers for diplomatic attachés and information too sensitive for broadcast communication.
Skills: Gervase is a natural born pilot with an intuitive sense and quick reflexes. He is familiar with every port of call on the Red planet as he has spent time in almost every place. He is familiar with the shadier side of Martian society and has a innate streetwise.
Gervase oftens wears a grey coloured threnchcoat and a typical Russian fur hut which he says belonged to his grandfather, a supposed Selenite War veteran.
